You can submit the enclosed consent in 5 ways:

  • Give consent via QR code with deposit number, name, date of birth.
  • Sign and send by fax to +49 (0) 9281 7258-46123
  • Sign, scan and send by email (PDF, photo) to "einwilligung@fondsdepotbank.de".
  • Sign and return with the prepaid envelope enclosed with the customer mailing.
  • If you use our InfoManager, you can give your consent when you log in.

A letter will be sent to you for each fund custody account/money account you manage with us. You must give us your consent individually for each fund custody account/money account. If you also use InfoManager, the letters will also be sent to your electronic mailbox. If you have already given us your consent(s), further (double) consent is not necessary.

With your consent, the new contractual conditions and prices will be valid from 03.02., respectively from 23.05.2022.

Please give us your consent by 03.02., respectively 23.05.2022 at the latest.

It is usually sufficient for one of the holders to give their consent for the joint account/deposit.

It is regularly sufficient if a legal representative gives consent. Unfortunately, consent via QR code is not possible in this case.

Consent is a prerequisite for us to be able to continue the business relationship with you in the long term in a legally secure manner.

We expressly ask for your active consent in our cover letter "Your consent to the contractual terms and prices of Fondsdepot Bank" dated November 19, 2021, respectively 18.03.2022. If you do not agree with the changes, you do not need to send us a separate objection.

Should you nevertheless explicitly object, the business relationship will no longer have a legally secure basis. Your objection would result in the further termination of the business relationship, unless we can convince you of the necessity of your consent.

In the future, we will be required by law to provide you with certain information electronically. In order to provide you with a better overview of not only this information, but also all documents relating to your securities account and cash account, as well as information concerning the business relationship, quickly, conveniently & paperlessly in one place, Fondsdepot Bank offers you the InfoManager (IM) - the free electronic mailbox. With your consent, you give us the order to set this up if you are not using it today.

If you do not give your consent and you do not notify us by February 3, respectively by May 23, 2022 that you wish to continue to receive the information that we must provide to you electronically in the future in written form, we will introduce the InfoManager (IM) only for sending this information.

First, please agree to the changes in contract terms and prices. Then, informally send us your request to continue receiving documents that we are not legally required to provide to you electronically by mail to:

A custody fee is a charge for the safekeeping of funds in an account, for example, the Fondsdepot Bank cash account.

Due to the extremely low interest rate environment that has existed for a long time and the associated costs, Fondsdepot Bank, like many other institutions, is forced to introduce a custody fee for higher balances on cash accounts.

The amount of the custody fee is variable and depends on the development of the "ECB interest rate for the deposit facility" (reference interest rate). An allowance of EUR 5,000 is agreed for the custody fee (0.5% as of November 2021). However, Fondsdepot Bank will initially apply an allowance of EUR 100,000. The allowance can be reduced to the agreed amount at any time without further information. You can find the current conditions for this here.

An allowance of EUR 5,000 is agreed for the custody fee (0.5% as of January 2022). However, Fondsdepot Bank will initially apply an allowance of EUR 100,000. We will inform you about an upcoming change via the account and invoice settlement for your account. You can find the current conditions here. A custody fee only applies to the credit balance exceeding the allowance.

If you only maintain a securities account and not a cash account with us, no custody fee will be charged.
