From 1 November 2018, Beate Richartz will reinforce the Management Board as Chief Customer Officer (CCO).
In her role, she will be in charge of sales for institutional clients, banks and insurance companies as well as the associated pools and liability umbrellas Apart from this, her area of responsibility will include sales management, product management and sales controlling. The CEO of the Management Board, Sebastian Henrichs, had assumed these tasks on an interim basis in recent months.
As head of Liability Umbrella & Fund Asset Management, Richartz has been responsible for the successful development and effective organisation of these two new business areas at Fondsdepot Bank for the past two years. Richartz has many years of specialist and management experience in the field of fund trading platforms with a focus on sales and fund procurement/ custody. Among other things, she was Managing Director at Metzler FundServices GmbH, part of Metzler Asset Management.
"Finding someone our clients already knew for the interface between the Management Board and clients was important to us. We want to expand continuity and reliability. The role of CCO has been assumed by someone who more than meets these requirements - a woman with experience and know-how - in the person of Beate Richartz," says Henrichs.
Richartz herself is looking forward to the first client conversations in her new role, "I have the privilege of assuming the responsibility for client affairs at a fascinating time. We will continue to expand our digital services in agreement with our clients. For instance, in 2019 we will expand our API platform in order to simplify the advisor's work and optimise data exchange with us."
Richartz will in future be supported by Sebastian Höft. Höft has already been responsible for looking after the pools and the bank and insurance sector at Fondsdepot Bank for three years. Since his promotion to head of department in October 2018, he has also been responsible for the institutional clients.
Among other things, Höft was previously a director at wallstreet:online capital AG and Deutsche Direktanlage AG.
Höft is very enthusiastic about digital financial technologies in sales: "We want to provide intermediaries and portfolio managers with intelligent advisory and asset management tools. In future, digital services with optional personal investment advice will provide end-clients with significant added value and simplify the advice and intermediary processes for business partners."
